RANDY DOWNER, JR., Licensed Private Investigator

Randy Downer, Jr. graduated from the University of Arizona in 1986, where he studied English, Communication, and Political Science. After graduation, Randy applied to the UA Law School and was denied admission. Randy considers this decision by the Law School to be one of the “greatest gifts” he has received in life because shortly thereafter he found his calling.

Randy spent five years as a Criminal Investigator Specialist for the Pima County Public Defender’s Office and in 1994, opened a solo practice, Inter-State Investigative Services (IIS). Over the years, IIS has grown into a trusted investigative agency serving clients throughout the state.

Services include criminal defense, pre and post indictment investigations, civil and insurance investigations, witness interviews and recorded statements, asset and background searches, video and digital photography, location of missing persons and witnesses, service of process, evidence collection and analysis, and trial preparation, testimony, and graphics.

For over 30 years Randy has worked for all systems of government, as well as side-by-side with Arizona’s brightest legal minds on many of the highest profile criminal and civil cases in Arizona.
